NEXD Marketplace Policy
ScopeThe scope of this Seller's Policy includes the actions and content of the NEXD Marketplace platform and serves the purpose of regulating trade transactions and simplifying them using a unified rulebook.

The following paragraphs apply to all sellers who offer their goods on this platform.
§1 Seller obligations
a) After selling an item and receiving payment from the buyer or a third person specified in writing by the buyer, you, as the seller, are obligated to deliver the items you offered or provide the service.

b) You are required to make the first contact with the buyer within 3 days after selling one of your offered items.
An exception to this is the sale of an item with the additional feature "Request a Middleman." In this case, the middleman will contact both parties (buyer and seller) within the specified timeframe.

c) You must use the contact methods provided in the email after the sale of an item to reach the buyer.

d) As a seller you have the duty to respond within 3 days after being contacted by a buyer or a middleman.
§2 Buyer obligations
a) After confirming a purchase of an item on this platform and subsequent contact by the seller, you, as the buyer, are obligated to pay at least 50% of the purchase price before receiving the item from the seller.

b) You are required to pay the full purchase price immediately upon receiving the item from the seller.

c) If a dispute arises between you and the seller, you are obligated to contribute to its resolution to a reasonable extent. The resolution will always take place in writing.

d) As a buyer you have the duty to respond within 3 days after being contacted by a seller or a middleman.
§3 Right of return
a) There is no right of return for the purchase of items unless the seller explicitly agrees to it in writing.

b) If a service has not been performed satisfactorily, the buyer must first contact the seller to resolve the issue directly. If no agreement can be reached, the buyer has the option to open a dispute on the matter, after which NEXD Support will take up the issue.
§4 Validity
a) A sale is considered void if:

1. The buyer or seller has made changes to the offer afterwards and wants to enforce these changes.

2. The delivery of the sold item by the seller has not taken place within 7 days after purchase by the buyer.

3.One of the parties (buyer or seller) has not responded within 3 days.

4. The seller no longer possesses the item to be sold.
§5 Dispute resolution
a) If a service has not been performed satisfactorily, the buyer must first contact the seller to resolve the issue directly.

b) If a delivery of goods is incomplete and only partially fulfilled, the seller is obligated to refund the buyer an appropriate amount in aUEC, depending on the missing quantity relative to the total amount.

c) Both parties (buyer and seller) must have contacted each other and attempted to resolve the dispute before requesting mediation by NEXD.

d) For dispute mediation by NEXD, screenshots of the conversation with valid timestamps for each message are required.

e) Buyers and sellers must follow the instructions of a NEXD mediator after the outcome of a dispute resolution has been announced.
§6 PenaltiesIf either party (buyer or seller) violates the guidelines mentioned in this document, NEXD is free to take appropriate measures.

Measures can range from a warning to temporary or permanent banning from the entire platform.
